Can u put factory heated mirrors on a truck that didn't have them from factory?

I wanted to put dodge heated mirrors on my truck and wondering if there is wiring for them tucked away but not used. . ? or has anyone tried wiring heated mirrors themselves?

Yes, can be done what year is your truck? '98 models and after wiring there already.

I did on my 95, had to run the wires and install a switch. Make sure your wires are of the proper gauge and you may thing about a relay in the circuit so that you don't fry the switch. Remember, anything that generates heat will draw more amps than just a light. If you're lucky, the wiring will already be there. For example, my 95 has manual windows but the wiring for auto windows is already in place.

So the pig tail for heated mirror is probably behind the door panel? Or is it a certain color wire?

I found some heated tow mirrors for my 2004 2500 and everyone is telling me that the wiring is behind the door panel for these... I also found a different climate control cluster, with mirror heat button under the a/c button... so if I add the mirrors and new cluster I'm assuming the mirror heat will function? Any help would be appreciated
