Who actually repairs injectors?

I had made a post a few weeks ago under another name because my subscribsion had expired. My truck was leaking fuel in the oil and leaking in fast. Id say it put 1. 5 to 2 gallons of fuel into the oil in like only 7 miles. The truck was running fine not smoking not missing. I removed the injectors and looked at them thought i saw a crack on the body of number 6 but not sure its opposite the hole where the connector tube enters the injector. I have had all the tips off and looked with a magnifying glass and dont see any cracks there. I have had the injection pump off and put on a spare my uncle had so i know it wasnt the seal in it. Any info is appriciated i dont understand how an injector could be loosing fuel and the truck was running fine.

you could send them to a shop like industrial injection and have them tested.

or you could start the truck with the valve cover off and look at all of the injectors while its running. have someone on hand to shut the truck off while you are still watching the injectors, when the truck is just shut off the pressure spikes and if there is a smaller crack you will see it at this time. it will look like a little puff of smoke. just make sure you keep your distance the systems are under very high pressures.

tq specs for injector tips

does anyone know what i should torque the injector tips to since ive had them apart. i had to tap the wrench with a hammer to get them to loosen.
