Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Can you hook up a Van Aiken Box for a HO ISB to a SO ISB???

I have a Van Aiken Box on loan from a friend, and was wondering if you can use it on a Standard output (5 Spd) if it says it is rated for a HO (6 Spd). What is the difference in the box? Is there a difference at all? Can y'all chime in? I want to hook this thing up tomorrow to show him what his truck is capable of, but do not want to blow anything up, being it is rated for a HO pump. I dont see what difference it would make, but I am a 12v guy. .

as long as the plugs match up you should be good to go.

I sold my VA off of my '99 to a guy with a '02 HO. It runs fine. BD told me that the program was not optimized for the HO, but that it would be fine to run.

well, I guess its ok then. . Just wondering why it is labeled on the box for a DODGE 24V HO... . oh well, we are going to put it on here in a few hours... . after the new lift pump goes on!
