Anyone know if it is possible to replace the rubber bushing on the bolt end of the Trackbar (not the balljoint end)? If so, is there anyone who makes bushings for this unit?
I currently have the Luke's Link on my current Trackbar and it works very well. Since I have a NAPA Trackbar with the Luke's Link, I can not return the bar for a new one free of charge under their warrenty.
I have developed a poping noise when steering around corners or sitting still on the road while turning the steering wheel all the way from one side to the other. The noise is from the Trackbar moving at the axil contact point. The bushing is worn out and the hole in the bushing is larger than the 18 mm bolt going through it ... so it "pops" when he pressure is too great when steering and the bar end moves around on the bolt. (And yes, the bolt is tight, blasted it on with a air wrench).
Does Rancho make anything that might fit? I checked out some Rancho sites and could not find anything. Would like to have a Urathane type bushing if possible.
Thanks in advance.
