A few years back, my dog (puppy at the time) decided he wanted the pepperoni that was in the door pocket. He tore apart the door panel trying to get to it . Yes he's still alive, I had to blame myself on that one, for leaving him in the truck alone with pepperoni in the door. Luckily, the damage was isolated to the padded portion around the handle. My question is... Can you take out the inner panel (the soft padded part that surrounds the opener handle) and re-cover it? I haven't taken it off the door yet, but I've seen pictures and they look like there is an insert that could be removed. Anybody know for sure??? Thanks for any insight... I'm ready to have this looking nice again.

It all one piece and would be a challenge to recover. A junk yard may be your best bet and since they're all the same (and only two colors) between 1/2 tons on up, it should be easy to get one.
I kept driving past this nice late model Jaguar XK on my way to work that had a For-Sale sign in the window. They kept marking it down and when it hit $2900 I just had to stop and check it out. The outside was perfect but a dog had eaten the interior.
