CAN YOU SEE ME NOW? New and improved Rear Brake-Turn-Tail and back ups

My trailer is a 2015 Fox Mountain 235RLS 5th wheel. All of the exterior running lighting is LED but they installed some "Cheezzy" rear Stop-Turn-Tail lights. I like BRIGHT and QUALITY. I bought two WHELEN 600 series, 84 LED Stop-Turn-Tail assemblies and bezels. These have a 4th wire that you use to select whether you want the lamp to flash 3 fast times then solid or just solid when braking or turn signal. I chose to have the flash then solid option. Fortunately, the trailer was wired for back up lights but didn't come with any. I bought TWO GROTE Trilliant, 6 led each, spot/flood utility lamps for my back up lights.
By God, People will see me NOW!

I see what you are talking about. I have seen large, class A motor homes with the rear facing light up by the side of the front wheels. I have to put on two reflectors as the Whelen lights have clear lenses. I found some Truck-Lite 2" X 3.5" rectangular stick on tape reflectors. Genius! I'll have to put this on my todo list. I could have really used this the two trips before last.

I did this with my flat deck trailers after missing a narrow drive and backing into a 3 ft ditch with a tractor loaded up. It was a dark rainy night and the road was slick and the truck didn't have the traction to pull back out of the ditch. I had to unchain the tractor, unload it and then pull out...meanwhile I had both lanes shut down . Putting the lights up front illuminates your wheels and the ground off to the side so you can see as you are backing up no matter how tight you have to cut it.

The other thing I did with my reverse lights is I wired them up to use a relay. The signal from the truck's backup lights, (usually center pin of the 7 way plug) triggers the relay from the trailer's batteries. I also added a manual switch in one of the compartments that I can also flip the lights on even when it's not in reverse or even connected to the truck. I can use the lights when jockeying around the campsite to get in the right spot. Also when we are setting up in the dark, I can keep the lights on.
