After a bit of hesitation I have decided to sell my 03. Seems my body and the shifting don't get along any more. Altho the truck has just over 400k kms ( 250k miles ) the drive train has less than 50k kms ( 30k miles ) on it. The engine was rebuilt by 2 Cummins employees and uses all new Cummins parts and the G56 transmission ( 2008+ "AE" version ) was purchased new from Dodge. It dynoed at 278 to the wheels in 5th gear, which is a loss of only 9%. Truck is located in Edmonton AB. Aside from all the factory options that come with the Laramie package I have added the following:

Body:
Replaced front bumper body colored Sport model
New OEM front fenders
New OEM driving lights

Nice truck. Looks like you've done a lot of quality work to it. How is the cab and frame as far as rust? I see you've replaced the fenders and bed already.
Do you have an asking price in mind?

The truck had the common chrome "eyebrow" moulding around the fender lip which hold dirt and moisture and promotes rust. Also debris hadn't been cleaned out at the bottom of the fender that you can see when the door is open. When I got it there was a deck on it but the under neath is rust free. It is an Alberta truck so we don't have the rust issue a lot of "warmer" places have :) I have seen lots of early 3rd gens with rusty boxes tho. If it wasn't for the shifting gears issue I would definitely be keeping it. It is advertised locally for $22,5 CDN .

This is what it looked like when I brought it home on a trailer:
