Who has been sold a canadian truck and then brought to the US by a dealership and changed the tack over and sold it to you. Well im having warranty problems with my engine. Went to get my lift pumped changed and they said I only have a 3yr/36,000 mile warranty on my engine cause thats what canada offers. Now i know why the wouldnt warranty my truck last time the fuel pump was bad. They told me then that it wasnt covered under warranty. The dealership that I bought this from said it isnt cause its from canada. The have never had this problem before. (There a side dealership. Not a dodge dealership) They said its cause of modifications done to the truck, but they dont even know what is done to the truck cause the first time my lift pump went bad and i had bought a used one from a buddy and put it in and i went to dodge with my bad one in hand and i said can i exchange this for a new one and the service manager said yes you can if its covered under the engine warranty. Thats when they told me it wasnt. They never had my truck so they would not know what was done to my truck. Plus this time I took it in the service manager asked me if any mods were dont to my truck. He said if there is jus pull them out. I. E. Comp box. And i did. He's pretty cool with us. A buddy had a cam, plus other stuff done by this dealership and there covering his warranty still if they do the work. Im hoping there is a error in the dodge print out that shows me only having 36,000 mile warranty on engine. Maybe they messed up and gave me the gasoline warranty by accident. No offense to canadians but i feel if i bought this dam truck in the USA (alaska) that i should have the american warranty on this truck. I have nothing to do with canada or nor am i canadian!!!
Anybody else have this problem at all?#@$%! :-{}
