As I currently understand it, Honda and DC void the warrenty as soon as a vehicle is registered in another country. Toyota has no problem with it.
The vehicle only needs be 14 days old, so my broker tells me. They have an american buy it and then tranfer it to a canadian.
As for DRL, they can be turned on in most cars today. speedometers that have minor sclae in kms is OK in canada, warning stickers must be bilingual, and therefore are replaced.
it's worth to import, so check into it.
I understand that in Ontario this week a class action lawsuit against GM, DC,Ford, Honda has been filed. plaintifs are seeking $1. 2B. should be interesting.
good luck
