Cancelled G-56 order, dealer shafting me

See what the return policy is on parts. If there is no or very small restocking fee, then take the $1000 in parts and then return them the next day for a cash refund. Just don't get any elec. parts they don't like to take them back. Also see if they will match another dealers prices on parts. If they do , get Tomeygun to fax you a list of stuff you want with a good discount and make them match it. Talk to the parts manager before you agree to the $1000 credit but don't tell him what you are doing. Get him to tell you the policy before hand.

Hmmmmm... most people would jump all over the chance to post the name of a dealer that had ripped them off for $1,000 .

That's just another reason I have done business twice with Yellowstone Country Motors in Livingston, MT - I didn't have to post a deposit. Plus, I have learned that I do not have to, if they want my business.

If it was me, I would call the local district attorney who handles consummer fraud. Tell him/her what happened. I think holding your deposit is against the law as you didnt get anything for it. The dealer should have to show that he was out the $1000 by you cancelling. Thats my 2cents.

Well if the G-56 are being released, I bet I wont get my cash. I did get a email reply back from DC so we will see what happens. If not I will get my moneys worth one way or the other. :-laf

My ex dealer is South Oak Dodge in Matteson IL off of Lincoln hwy, no where near I5.
