Anyone have any ideas of where to mount this huge beast horn set... Its 3 horns 2 are next to each other one is about 3 inches higher... this thing blasts at about 180 decibals :) also anyone know of a smaller air tank and compresser to go with this beast

I mounted my train horns onder the bed on the passenger side. outside the frame. I have them facing foward so road grim doesn't get in them. I have to of Kilby's large tanks mounted under the bed next to the tank. gives me 5 gals of air. I run a thomas pump for air, cause Im waiting on Kilby's lazy butt :D to put on a york. I use a pull valve in the cab. Give a better effect for a train sound.

Kory,

Its getting closer, The kit is now on my CTD600 04. 5, and the instructions are typed out, they just gotta go to our web guy, and we should be set. . I think... .

I mounted my air horn set on my head ache rack on my flatbed and it works good. I freezes up on real cold days but there is a lot of air going by it also.

Those horns can be had on Ebay look up Nathan train and you'll find them. Not cheap by any means. Don't know the legality of having train horns.

I got my air horns from a Hadley dealer (http://www.componentproductsgroup.net), and my on-board air setup (compressor, tank, electrical, accessories) from http://4x4connection.com

Lots of parts/accessories are availalable from http://www.onboardair.com as well

I went with individual components, rather than a complete air-horn kit, because I wanted a more powerful compressor to handle air tools and the like. The kits typically come with a very small compressor, which are good for re-filling the tank after horn usage, but not much else.
