I want to order from NW Custom, either the Stainless Steel polished or the brushed stainless steel. These are the Cummins Power rocker panels. I have a Patriot Blue Truck with Brushed Aluminum rims and nerf bars.

It's a hard decision to make since they both look great!! I chose the polished because everything else I have on the truck is also.

I would have to agree with Rob, Doc and WOWZY the polished on that Blue truck, would be waaay cool. Gunny

Brushed, Brushed, Brushed!

Actually both would look good on your Ram. Both are extremely high quality products produced by the worlds best rocker panel fabricator. I was going to say that was IMO although after I thought about it for a few seconds I came to the realization that is not my opinion, it's a matter of fact!

Still lookin' good WOWZY!

CANT VOTE

Sky

I cant vote since there is no selection for LINE-X or some sort of spray on application. It would protect the panels for years without the chance of rust thru

Well Sky, I voted for the polished, and I also have a Pat Blue Cummins. I would really hope someone eventually posts a pic or two of a set of the brushed SS panels, so we can see what they look like. Heck, I may even change my mind if they look good enough :D

Either way, I will eventually order these for my truck also!!!

Polished does look good, but i would be worried about all the scratches. At least with brushed aluminum, you can lightly sand out scratches.

Sky I have the Cummins Power polished covers on my truck. Did you by chance see it at Timberline? If not there is a pic of my truck under one of the Timberline pics postings. Yes,they are held on with 3M tape. This tape covers the complete moulding. Clean the truck completely including using alcohol. Be sure they are properly lined up because once they are stuck down they will not come off without being destroyed. If you happen to be up this way I would be more than happy to help install them.

Yes Mike I did see your Ram... looked awesome! The original set of NW Custom rocker panels with the exact same cutouts you have were made for Jason's friend Brian... out of the brushed stainless steel.:cool: Also, the brushed stainless steel rocker panels match their patented mud flaps... they're brushed stainless steel (or diamond plate aluminum).

Yes I did see your truck at Timberline, I have a picture of it right here in front of me. Actually after seeing your truck it made me want to get some, thats why I cant decide. I do like the looks of the polished but a couple of things are holding me back on the polished... ... ..... 1) Rockchips more likely to show (no flaps) 2) I have brushed aluminum rims and nerf bars and will probly get the Denver off road Brushed aluminum bumper in a few months. So all I can say is

I am nervous about putting them in too. I just got my decal from Iceman and managed to wreck that in about five minutes. But im only out $22. 00 with the decal, the panels are $220. 000.

Jason from NW custom emailed me a picture of the brushed Panels on a Patriot blue truck, i tried to post it here but it said image to big. Does anyone know how to make it smaller?

Rocker Panels

Has anyone put these on a White Ram with the Driftwood lower band . I was curious if if covered the paint or if it looked ugly.

Must have!

Does anyone have contact information for NW Custom? Do they have a website? One more question, is this a complete set they sell or just the front door pannels with "Cummins" in them? This looks like a must have for me since I will need a set anyway when my truck gets finished. Thanks :)

The set comes complete with panels for both sides ie; fenders, doors, bedsides. Sky I havent had any problems with the covers getting rocked chipped. Just the paint below them. Whatever you decide let me know if you need help. Meet you halfway somewhere. Im always looking for an excuse to get the 5er out. ;) ;)
