Hi there:

I would be interested in mail-ordering some Chevron Delo 400 10W-30. Everybody seems to carry 15W-40, but it's been below zero here in Minnesota for a few days and winter's just beginning. I'd like to use 10W-30 since the rig sits outside all winter. Anyone have a source? Thanks.

Good question. I would also like to be able to order the Delo 10w-30 online as I can't find anywhere locally.

Big Saint, you are correct, you should break in your truck as the syn does not provide enough friction to do so. Neither of you indicated that your trucks were brand new only that you were having cold weather problems. I would wait 2 to 3 oil changes before changing over.

For those who are interested, I found a supplier of Rotella 10W-30. The supplier is Pam Oil which can be found at www.pam-companies.com. I got a case (containing six one-gallon jugs) for a reasonable price from their Minneapolis warehouse. I believe one can also mail order products from them. Their 800-number is 1-800-456-2660.
