2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Can't get a cd out of the player

I know, it seems like a small thing, and I suppose it is. The cd player in my 96 dually was working great. Then, when I got home and tried to take the cd out. Nothing. Then, it wouldn't even play anymore, let alone eject. I know lots of people have lots worse problems right at the moment. But, if someone could tell me how they've gotten a cd that doesn't want to come out, out, I sure would appreciate it???

what i usually do is take my fist and hit the dash pretty hard right above the cd player, seems to work for me.

I'll try hitting it above the player. I've been avoiding punching it, I was kind of worried I wouldn't STOP! Oo.
