 When I respond to a thread, I can't get back using the right or left button, I have to go back to the discussion forum and start over, what am I doing wrong? Tim

I open a new window with the right mouse button to respond to a thread so I can flip back and forth (ALT TAB) to make sure I'm talking about the same thing (hopefully). After the posting is complete I just close the extra window.

Oh yeah, if you just respond in the same window and then hit the back button it will take you to the "you will be taken to. . " window so you end up right where you started. Try right clicking on the back button and select the window you want to go back to from the context menu that drops down.

;) Thanks joe, I just hit the right mouse button on post rely and opened link, so I'll see if I can get back to this forum. Tim

Tim,

If you are using IE click on the SECOND choice in the menu when you right click to reply. The first does the same thing as when you just left click normally. If you are using Netscape the FIRST choice is the one to use. I use IE at work and Netscape at home so I'm always clicking on the wrong one if I'm not paying attention (normal operating mode).

Ctrl + n = fast way to a new window before clicking reply. Just close the new window after posting, you will be back where you left off but your new post won't be listed in the forum topics by just using the back button.

Now here's the way I do it. I have a Logitech mouse whose center roller clicks (web wheel) and pops up a circle with links you can add then just click on. I have a link for Other, Products, 12 valve etc. It used to be that there was a jump to box at the end of each TDR page that worked the same as the web wheel, but alas it is gone.

 nope, I can't get back without going to discussion forum and starting over. This is irritating, but never was able to use search engines either. Tim

Tim , Tim here ... ... . Try Tripple clicking really quick on the back button. That's how I do it Click, click, click and I noticed that glitch using I. E6

 Thanks Tim, I'll try triple clicking the back button at the top of show channels, right? Or is it the right click on the mouse that comes up back? Tim:) :) :)
