Using the HD one from Geno's. Use the OEM black/Rubber gasket and a light coating of Permetex's "The Right Stuff" on both sides. 40 Ft Lbs torque.

It can't really be put on dry, as even after 24 hours of drain time, it still dips. Would a different gasket do the trick?

I had the same problems with that one. went back to stock for one oil change and then to the ez change plug from genos, no problems in about 70K miles.

I'm sorry you had a problem with my HD Oil Pan Plug. If you had contacted me, or called Geno's and had them give you my phone number, I would have told you where to get a fiber gasket or sent you one at no charge. For the very few customers who have a sealing problem with the black rubber gasket, this seems to take care of the problem. Diana
