Can't get on Travel Companion

Did you register for it? Read the text above the login prompt and see if that helps. You have to register seperately for the travel companion - it's seperate from the forum id and password.

Okay I got in but it took several tries.

You said it took several tries. Could you explain further what happened? That way if there's a problem I can try and fix it. BTW, that info was always there. I added the flashing exclamation signs yesterday because we'd get many emails a day about it - so people obviously weren't seeing it.

I did the register thing (who reads all the fine print?) and then it says-"okay you're registered, now login" Then I get a "login error" so I go "back" and hit it again for error then-since I can see my username and know it's correct, I delete the ******* (I hate those) and re-enter my password and I got in.



At least that's how I remember it.



On a different note, is there a search I can do to see the members in my state? There are only four in the TC. And I'm interested in not-yet-online folks too. I know there's one of those in my county. I tried the "member search" thing but that doesn't include location. And so many of us are extra cute with our "location".

You probably just made a typo on the password then. No, there isn't a way to search for members in your state other than the travel companion. There is the members rigs spotted section that may have some in your state though.

Seems like the TDR could help us PC folks get together with our Non-PC neighbors and get more "local chapters" formed and such.
