cant get over drive to kick in any idea,s

ok everyone i need some help i just finished my swap into my crewcab i used a 93 ctd 2x as a doner truck ive got everything finished but i cant seem to get overdrive to work all wireing is hooked up right but light comes on for shutting off over drive but still nothing ????????? where do i go next to check helppppppppppppppppppppppp me please

Od

OD is wired hot at the transmission and it is activated by a ground from the computer. Probe the wires at the transmission and find the hot and use a toggle switch to turn on the OD by closing to ground. If it doesn't work then, you have something awry in the transmission. If you have a connection to someone with AllData, the wire diagram and color codes can be determined as well as how the circuit is setup.



The computer must have several inputs correct to activate the OD function, Have you provided all the correct signals (TPS, Speedo, rear axle speed sensor, engine temp) to the computer from the donor?

Do you have a copy of the Dodge FSM. It could help you with the wire routing to and from and what it is they go to/from. It will tell you what to test and how when troubleshooting a problem... ... ... ... ... ... ... . if you can decipher the information.
