Can't get to Travel Companion

Is the Travel Companion down? When I log onto it, I get a blank page. Netscape tells me that it id done loading.



I need to look at the Kansas members, and sign myself up here.

Problem With Travel Companion

I'll ask Steve to look at this when he gets back in next week. It is downloading properly for me, but I use Internet Explorer. I'm sure it is something we can get corrected next week.

Some Having Problems

Some folks have trouble accessing the Travel Companion for the FIRST TIME (I did this too). If you cannot get it to accept your password the FIRST TIME ONLY, it is probably because you missed a minor detail. You quickly have to "set up" your access. I'll copy the "error" you should get (I totally overlooked this the first time too).

You need to have an account set up to add

or edit a record to the travel companion. Currently this is

a manual process but it will be automated in the future. For now

please use the same user ID and password you use in the

forums. If you have not already created an account for the

travel companion, please click here to create one.

If you have any trouble logging in or creating a user ID please mail me.

Once you follow that link (within the Travel Companion) by clicking on it, you will type in your username and current password. That immediatley activates your access. Once you do this one time, you do not have to do it again.
