Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Cant make boost. No smoke

Nearly floor it and I can't make boost or any smoke at all. I used to boost about 28 psi and am hard pressed to see 8 up a hill along with not making any power up the hill. I checked intercooler fittings quickly but would assume more smoke if I had just a boost leak. I feel it has something to do the pump and low boost fueling.

sounds like no fuel, check your fuel solenoid for full open operation when you turn the key On, and change your fuel filter if you havent done it recently.

Also check the prefilter, they do get clogged occasionally.

I got a fass and my gauge says I got pressure. Ill look at the solenoid. It's for sure not getting fuel or full fuel should I say. I have zero sputtering and no get problems but can barely make it up hills. This is a condition that just set in after stopping at a friends hose and didn't progressively get worse.

Running WVO, my guess is restricted pre filter screen unless you removed it.

Haven't got the rig on wvo yet. I got 45 psi at the p7100

Could it be an afc issue. I bought this truck with no history really and it makes 808 ft lbs so someone has been in the pump. Could a lock nut in the aft possibly come lose?

I'd Check the tube between the intake manifold and afc housing, if it has a crack the pump won't fuel much

Another vote for fuel shutoff solenoid.

Yup I'll give it another vote for shutoff solenoid also lol. Started messing with it found the boot to be torn then it kinda fell aprt in my hand. Moved the shut off lever up went up the road and what do know full boost and fuel just need to manually shut it off. Ordering up a new one. Thank you guys.
