The 5er to TT weight difference with the same mileage isn't surprising at all, TT's tow really heavy based on the large drag increase with them... to top it off I use an 18" shank, so I bet that costs me 1-1.5 mpg's at 70, but I like being able to open the tailgate anytime. I am looking at using a shorter shank on longer tows thou.

Is this an option? I really dislike extended shank drawbars.

This is my insurance policy! I have only needed to use it once.

Notice the REAL nozzle and vent??? Parts are available to get rid of the BS safety I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER.

I had my previous 4th gen truck wet the ground a couple times when trying to top it off. I finally learned my lesson and I don't even bother topping it off anymore. When it clicks off, I'm done. It's not worth getting a couple more gallons if it risks wetting itself. As much as I love diesels, I hate the smell and plus all the road debris stuck to it and made a mess...

Too bad we’re forced to spend another $10 on top of the original purchase to make a fuel can usable. Tell me again why so many folks think the govt knows better than its citizens?

So the trucks come with the white funnel to open the two flaps. Peak Blue DEF boxes do not drip when the box it tipped with the black quacker on top. The reverse of what I did the first two years when it dripped.

So someone tell what is the problem!

He’s taking about fuel cans, not DEF jugs.

I bought a $4 funnel to use to fill my capless tank, since I don’t want to smell diesel on the white funnel. It’s for emergency use, not planned use.

Simple i use a tire valve, remove the valve core drill .453 same size as 11mm then using .032 stainless steel safety wire. Now take new wire run through the new valve at large fill hole to the new 11mm hole pull the valve up use the tire valve core tool pull up to mount new valve. I use this method on red 6 gallon containers for many years.

No, I saw AH64IDs comment right after mine because there are a few members here that are on my ignore list because they have a distant relationship with the truth. I may add another due to their pure ignorance. I do apologize to AH for the confusion.
