Canvas campers whos got one?

Like the title says, who has one of those canvas campers, toppers? I need to make an enclosure that is insulated. Would the canvas be a bad idea or should I go with a glass type? The canvas type can fold up to give me access to the bed, and goose neck hitch. We have also thought of getting a new 1500, and that enclosure would be semi permennet. Your sugestions, and picks would help? Thancks!

Would it be possible to fully insulate an enclosed pickup box and camper?

Back in the 70's I had a campershell made in Oregon that was built with a 2x6 frame excellent insulation and it had fold out beds that had an insulted soft sided covers -an early version of slide outs almost huge room inside for camping spent many warm nights in it while others were freezing in the glass shells
