I wanted to bring this one back alive... ... ... . I have the same question... ... . With the amount of miles I put on my truck I can sse I need to do something about my seating arrangement... ..... Can anyone shed some light here?

But even though they have the central seat and armrest, aren't our seats technically captains chair seeing as they both move completely independant of the central section in every way? Call me stupid but thats what it looks like to me.

I was under the impression that captains chairs would be built better, provide better support. Maybe be able to find one that allows you to raise and lower the front and back of the seat..... electric lumbar control... . etc..... You may be right Will, I am really not sure... ...

That's what I got with the power seats in mine. :)

They're heated, too. :D

Seriously, most of the time "Captain's Chairs" means that they have attached armrests.

Personally, I prefer the BIG armrest in the middle.
