Car door lock question...

I have a friend that has an '89 Toyota and she broke part of the key off in the drivers side door lock. You think there is anyway to fish out the broken off pc or just go ahead and buy a new lock?

Hit a flea market and find some dental picks. You might get luck and fish it out. I have got lucky a couple of time. I woudln't replace the lock if you can't fish it out. A lock smith can get it out. If you remove the lock the charge for removal souldn't be to high.

Put some super glue on the half in hand and try to fish out. Be careful... not to much glue.

No way to keep glue on just the key. I wouldn't try that. You might be able to get the cylinder out and take it to a locksmith. Either they will get the key out, or give you a replacement keyed the same as the the old one.

she could chain it to your truck and then drive very near a hi power electromagnet.



just think, you could test the pulln strength of you truck and help a damsel in distress at the same time



seriously, I think the dental pick idea would work.
