Does anyone have interior pictures of how they set them up to use for camping? If you were NOT towing a trailer would you still opt for a double door or a single? How secure are they IF used as a camper?

I would still get the double door. You can open it in a shorter space (backed up to the garage, in parking lots, etc. ). The double doors are secure. They will not be the "weakest link". Both doors pin in the top and the bottom and the bottom is part of the camper, not the truck.
When I slept in it, I put a pad on the floor, or a cot, and used a sleeping bag. You do need to crack the windows as warm breath on cold steel makes for a drippy roof. You might even want to hang a towel across the ceiling to absorb some of the moisture.
Thanks AMink. I wonder if anyone tried to use a spray on insulation in them to keep them warm/cool? I also would think that would work pretty well for stopping them from sweating inside.
