The "door jam sticker" on my 2015, 2500 Big Horn states 1,919 lbs. But when researching my vehicle on "moparowners.com" cargo capacity is listed at 2,315 lbs. I'm guessing the door jam sticker is the true limit based on what options were installed at the factory and the info from mopar is based on base line model packages. Anybody had a similar experience?

Yes the door sticker is the accurate one, as its is GVWR minus curb weight.

But with the truck being a HD pickup I would personally ignore GVWR and worry more about axle ratings and tire limits.

So my door sticker says the rear axle weight rating is only 9750 lbs for my dually. However, I keep seeing guys talking about the axle rating being much higher than that?

9750 is the weight rating that Ram give the axle/frame/suspension/brakes and the higher number is the axle rating by AAM. IMHO the RAWR is based on a structural limit of any one of several components, unlike GVWR which is a paper limit based on keeping the truck a class III.

So that's the difference. 9,750 should be adhered to.
