GTX,seems like we have a difference in wiring here. My '95 doesn't have the door timer circuit which must switch things around some. Sounds like with your setup you may have to disconect the cargo light wire from the head light switch and put it on it's own switch.

I think I will put a toggle switch to open the dome lite circuit when the dimmer dial is rotated up. That should also allow me to turn the dome lite on/off when ever needed.

I think the door timer, interior light delay, is present on the models with factory keyless entry.

Maybe I'm wrong. In any case, as illflem said the wiring is a bit different.

I put a toggle switch on the Yellow wire and now I can open the dome lite circuit to turn it off whenever I want. Now I just need to hide another switch.

I do have the keyless entry feature.

Big-D,
Pulled out the headlite switch and did it there. There is only about 2 inches of wire to work with. I have not looked to see if the yellow wire runs up the left A pillar. If it does then you could put the switch there and mount it in the A pillar gauge mount if you have one. That is where I am going to put my switch. Since I already cut wires behind the headlite switch I won't cut the yellow again if it does go up the A pillar, just have longer wire to the toggle switch.
