Well I just installed some Carli goodies on my truck and thought I would share some pics and my impressions.

I absolutely love these parts, my truck rides so nice now.

Highway ride is now much smoother and more controlled with no shaking or bucking.

Expansion joint jostles are a thing of the past. These Bilstein 7100s are just amazing, they along with the new coils completely changed the way my truck drove on rough roads.

I just need to get my rear minipacks ordered.

Are those hemi coils? I believe that's what they recommend for the 2nd gen. That's what I'm running on my 2nd gen. I got about 2 inches of lift.

So how about some before and after shots of the truck with the parts on them.

I am NOT a fan of Bilstein shocks at all anymore since their finish gets compromised so easily in winter weather and it can not be restored. I installed 6 5100's on my 98 with a double shock kit and after one winter season of driving tha zinc finish is completely ruined and I have yet to find a way to restore that finish.

Yah I have seen some pretty nasty pictures of some bilsteins after harsh winters.
However Bilstein makes some the hardest shock shafts ever produced, they pretty much wont ever chip, pit, or gall.
I do blame some of the pictures I have seen on poor wash habits.
The dealer whom I bought mine from said to coat the shock bodies in a oil product to combat corrosion.
I drenched mine in Amsoil HD metal protector, really good stuff IMHO, it sticks and doesn't get washed off easily at all.
