Competition Truck and tractor pull Sept 20

Didn't see anyone else on here mention it, this is a GOOD pull put together every year by Ian Moss, it's about 20 miles from our shop. Unlike a lot of county fairs, you don't end up waiting until 1:00 Sunday morning to get to pull. :D

www.enterpriseengine.com and click on "truck pulls", the rules and details are outlined there.

Hey Tom I'm coming up that day mid-day to get y'all to put my HD Exhaust Valve Springs in..... then going to the pull! See ya there!Oo. Oo.

P. S. You have a PM on KYDTR

4. 5 hrs and I'm off work and on my way to C-town(cynthiana) to meet up with Ricki(DTR=Cattle Hauler) and the rest of KYDTROo. Oo. Oo.

Just now thought to ask   does anybody know what happened to George Peterson in the open class? Me, Dodgeman01, and some buddies were sit'n on the back of his truck about 50ft from the starting line on the drivers side of the trucks... . 'bout 10 feet from 'em! :D

George started off fine..... but I was standing up in the bed video tape'n and right as he got dead in front of us is when he broke... . made all of us jump and I'm surprised I didn't fall from the steep angle of the bank the truck was on.

Anyhow anybody know what happened, what broke, and what he was leaking??

Transfer case, and driveshafts, one or both, was what we were told, he couldn't get it off the track in 4x4 even with the rear driveshaft out. Lucky he had his new tow rig (white '03 flatbed) to get it home, that's the first time I've seen his truck trailered in, he's always driven it to pulls.

Not trying to correct ya Tom, but George's truck came in on a flatbed semi @ the C-town pull.

So he's started trailering it this year, it's just that I remember seeing him driving it in, in the years past. No big deal. It's easier to trailer a pull truck, no worries about getting it home.

Loretta once talked about when they ran out of fuel in her truck, and had to get Dave's truck off the trailer to get the rest of the way home. :D That's not as funny as the guy in the Powerstroke pulling a horse trailer, he broke down on the interstate. Had to get his horse out, and ride 11 miles for help. :D :D
