I have a 91 standard cab and i need to no where the best place to buy carpet or it is and what is the best. I just want black.

I wouldn't get carpets form J. C. Witney. I have used two carpet kits from them. One was for a 78 W250 and the other was for a 76 C30. Neather one fit good. I had to use sheet metal screws to get them to fit the floor boards. Then they were still loose and baggy.

Carpet or Rubber Mat

I agree with Philip, JCW is cheap and you get what you pay for. I have tried 3 different suppliers and still not happy. The factory sets had the best molded fit I have seen, the rubber mat is unavailable now. For reference they were approx. 145. 00 (OEM). I did not ask about carpet sets, might want to check.

I haven't bought from these guys yet, but if I was in the market again I would give them a shot.

I replaced my vinyl floor with an aftermarket vinyl floor. I'm not that happy with the fit of it. I like the way it looks and it's thicker then the stock one was. I have a feeling all these places that sell flooring for our trucks are getting it from the same place or using the same molds. It took about 5 hours to get to fit right, I think carpet would be a lot easyer to install as the vinyl was almost 1/4" thick. Good luck.

My link to Dodge Parts Warehouse wouldn't work this afternoon, I found the site again and I think the price of the rubber mats went up since I first linked to it! Hehe, figures.

would you be willing to p. m. us the names of the kits you are not happy with so we do not wast any money i too am looking for a carpet kit

i was looking at autostyles has any one used them

and what is the correct name for the grey carpet say in a 93 w250

Let me dig for receipts to get you names, JCW is one for sure, I personally did not think the carpet from them was the best value. The vinyl floors were from others. I'll post when I find it.

ACC is highly recomended. I have used many of their carpet kits including the one in my 90. I will also get one through them for the crew. Super carpet kits.

sdstriper

just wondering if you ever found your recipts

for the carpets you where not happy with?

The Colonial Company, purchased on Ebay. There has to be better mats available out there, the vinyl is thicker than the OEM product but it is bordering on misadvertising IMHO. I would not buy a mat from them again, there really is no molded fit at all. Hope that helps.
