I ordered my truck on 12-31 and will finally pick it up tomorrow.

My question is: While waiting for the truck, Dodge offered a $2,000 cash rebate plus 0% financing for 48 months. Do you think Dodge will honor these same incentives for us now even though this is no longer available? Not sure exactly when the above incentives started or ended.

At the time the truck was ordered they offered a $2,500 cash incentive (same as now) and not sure what else was offered.

Thanks

When you ordered your truck, you should have been locked in for the $2,500 incentives at that time and nothing less. However, If the incentives go up and are still active when your truck arrives, you are entitled to those incentives. If an incentive (0% financing & $2,000) started after you ordered your truck and has come and gone, you are not entitled to it.

You should at least get the $2,500 at the time you ordered your truck.

That's the way it has been explained to me. TommyGun could give you other details if needed.

S Hale I was told exactly the same as what Big Bob explained when I ordered my truck last year. Your dealer should willingly offer you the $2500 no questions asked.

It took a long time to get your truck! If they start crap don't back down. Hopefully you left a deposit and signed a contract with a purchase price. They deliver, or raise hell! They should honor the contract!

They might count on your long anticipation of this truck. Ask who manages and owns the dealer, and leave if things go wrong--Write a letter--It works

Its very likely that there will be no problems tomorrow, and you will be loving life.

ENJOY!

Do what I did: call DC and whine. Let the dealer call and whine. Threaten to take your business to Ford like I did. DC took FIVE months to deliver my truck after "losing" it at the Port of Baltimore for months. I ordered when the 0% fro 36mos. OR $2,500 was in effect and it was delivered while same was in effect. I made the dealer call the DC fulfillment center and DC in Detroit and they gave me the 0% AND $2,000 that they made me miss in order to get my sale. The dealer also gave me the appraised agreed-upon price on my trade ('99 Ram) from back when it was appraised three mos. ago, despite the additional time elapsed and additional 7,000miles I put on it. I also made them throw me stuff, like rear Dodge carpet mats, and oil changes. That $100 over cost deal I got for an "04 on 12/03 didn't seem like such a great deal to me when it's now May '4 and you can't order an 0'4. 5 any more ('05's are coming), so they took care of me instead of having it sit on the lot. DC, unlike Ford or GM, apparently refuses to stock loaded trucks, so I was forced to order. I highly doubt I'll ever order another DC product again. It took over a year from initially deciding to buy, to giving up in frustration trying to find a loaded truck on the lot, to ordering and up until final delivery. Never again.

The whole point of this rant is to ask (demand), you'll probably get what you want if you try hard enough.
