I have been working on a plan to delete the cast alloy wheels butt ugly hub cap and am getting close.
I have located Chrome acorn lugs with the required "bulge" seat needed for the factory wheel along with a nice looking Center cap that will press into the front rotor and stay put during tire rotations. The Cap may be painted or chromed, don't know just yet.
To finish the project I need a way to dress up the axle stub in the rear. I can't slip in a cap from behind cuz these whees are "hub centric"
Has anyone deleted their hub caps yet? Any ideas on how to dress the rear stub?
