Ozy, that comes with a box too? I thought it was just linkage.
It's a double - you can have linkage, or box, or both together.
The 6 bolt is twice as much as the old 4 bolt box - no comparsion.
I wouldn't waste my money in the old box - no matter who built it, it doesnt grow bigger - it stays a tinny little Jeep box.

Update!
Finally got the new Redhead installed and what an amazing difference it made. Not only did it correct the poor return to center, I have a LOT more power assist than I ever remember having and of course, no slop at all. Something was very wrong in the old box..

Lessons learned:
Replacing the box is an easy, straight forward job. Soak the line connections in PB blaster for a few days and they're easy to loosen. The box is relatively small. The one in my 64 Ford is nearly twice as heavy.
Tip: Dont remove the tierod from the pitman arm like so many guys on Youtube do. Just leave it attached and remove the pitman arm. The whole thing will then fold neatly out of the way.
The tricky parts (for me) were:
Getting the lines tight. There just isn't enough room to swing a line wrench and I wish it had occured to me to cut my 3/4-13/16 flare wrench in half. It would have made the job go 30 minutes faster and my 59 y/o arthritic hands would have thanked me in the morning. I also found out that no matter how long you try, you simply cannot hand thread the inlet line into the outlet port - but I tried real hard. In my defense, my light had gone dead and I was too lazy to change the battery.
The only really hard part was getting the steering shaft over the new box's input splines. Had to use a small ball peen hammer and tap-tap-tap... (OK, tap-tap-swear, repeat).

I lost a little over 1/2 qrt of fluid (all faithfully absorbed by my favorite hoody..) and my steering wheel is still straight.

Box was worn out. You did better than I have on any of them, usually by 150k they were done. The Redhead's are the best for close to stock ratios, Borgeson's work but have had no luck with them.

Yes, the return and pressure lines don't interchange and they suck getting a wrench in there to tighten. :)
