CASE CLOSED! I finally got the track bar buttoned up, really quality piece I got from Cumminsperformanceparts.com. The steering is AMAZING! It is so tight it is unbelievable, and zero wander, I almost cried, haha. (definitely had a couple celebratory beers) In two months I got my sloppy steering up to par. I never touched the caster on it, so unless I start to see uneven tire wear I am leaving well enough alone and focus my attention to other areas of the truck.

Caster won't cause tire wear. Too much caster for the tire just puts more strain on the unit hub bearings. The idea is to run as little as possible to get solid steering. Usually around 3 to 3. 5 degrees on those trucks depending on tires size.

Camber and toe in will cause tire wear. If you don't know what the toe and camber is you trash a set of tires in a BIG hurry. Get an alignmnet just for checking sake so you know where it is.
