I have a couple of bottles of this stuff I bought years ago, and never used. It seems to be a Dot 4 spec, says it will mix with conventional brake fluids.
I was just wondering if any one had any input on this , before I give the ol'turbo-cruiser a transfusion with it.

I would not use any brake fluid that has sat on the shelf that long. Brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture) and even a slight moisture content severely lower its boiling point. Even though the seal on the bottle is intact, absorbtion can occur through the plastic over a long period of time. Fluid is relatively cheap and should always be fresh. Once the bottle is opened, I throw away what I don't use. Just my 2 cents!

AMEN... . TomB...

Open or not ..... for the cost of fluid... . if it's that old:

1) there is something better by now.
2) Hygroscopic. . and just not worth the risk.
