2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Cat back exhaust options

Hi guys,

I am looking for a cat back exhaust for my 01 3500 and was

looking for some input from some experienced BOMBers

I called Terry at Auto-Jet yesterday and they have a mandrel

bent 4" muffler eliminator pipe and tail pipe that is aluminized.

But the there are no hangers on it. You have to cut your

old ones off and either weld them to the new parts or weld

them to a clamp and put them on. The set is about $130

and sounds resonable but I was looking at all options like

stainless or other manufacturers. I would prefer doing this

myself and I don't have a welder.

If it's for your 01 then it doesn't have a cat. Resonators came on 2 gen 24V's, cats on 2 gen 12V's.

Thanks for the referral Hammer. This looks like the exact picture

from the Auto-Jet site. I guess unless I want to spend over $500

I'll weld on the old mounts.
