This weekend while at a livestock showa buddy of mine which driver a 2012 6.7 w/out DEF was broken into at the hotel we were staying at. Needless to say we were really shocked when they stole his Bible, they unzipped the cover and took the marker out of it and left it, maybe they will read it, maybe they just needed it, who knows!?! The one thing that was unbelieivable was they got under the truck and took his catalytic converter!! Crazy...why would they steal that?? Well the question is he was checking throught the dealership in Ft. Worth and they wanted $3500 and back in Longview they wanted $1800, well that s a no brainer where to take it but a friend stated that he had performed a delete and still had the parts and said he could just have the parts from his delete. Will a 2007 from a 6.7 fit on a 2012 as direct replacement?

All suggestions and comments are much appreciated!

Converter theft has been on the increase over the last several years due to the value of the metals inside. I read an article at some point where someone was bold enough to take them off of quite a few new trucks on the dealer lot.

Just like the copper wire bandits. Not sure if they changed much I would call the dealer parts department and ask if the part numbers are the same .Hope he reads Revelation
