Catalytic Converter?

This is a stupid question but here goes.



My salesman says my 04. 5 doesn't have a catalytic converter. I say it does, just forward of the muffler. Am I right? Or is he? Larv

Just look under the frame for the egg in the exhaust pipe, just under the passenger side. If there is a bulge, about 6-8 inches in diameter, it's the catalytic converter.

That's what I figured! I will take great delight in pointing it out to him. He says diesels don't need one but what he doesn't understand is the 04. 5's have one! Larv
