Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Catalytic converters (don't want it but have to have it)

I have my PA safety inspection and emmissions liscences. As far as if it had it, it needs to be there. Now honestly I don't think that the 94 had a cat orrigionally, my 97 did. But as far as tampering with emissions articles on your vehicle, I seem to remember that it is legal to modify your own cat on your own vehicle and it may not be touched by an other or shop. Inspection booklets are NOT very specific in any manner and the inspector usually has to use his better judgement. So with that being said, find an inspecter with judgement in your favor! There is ways around everything.
