I hate to bring up old topics, I'm sure I could research them but I don't really have the time right now. I'm just wondering if you can run a catcher and a drag comp. It seems like you could, but maybe to no effect. If they both do similar things, timing and fueling, does it help to stack them or what? Any input would be great. I'm thinking I want a catcher if its worth stacking them.

Thanks,

Sean

Yes they make a catcher without timing to go with the comp. It will add power and throttle response at the low end of your power band. Throttle response is so quick you will need to learn to roll into the throttle or you will get huge smoke. Get hold of Bob Wagner, he can fix you up. DW

we ended the catcher buy/exchange program with the final shipment received this week.

more news will be posted in a few days.

Thank you :)

Is this new wonderful thing going to cost me like 85 million dollars, I don't want that. I wasn't gonna buy a catcher today anyways, so I can wait for this new thing. Thanks guys.

C'mon Marco... . Christmas time is a time for giving and sharing, of information if not anything else.

More details on the post-Catcher era that is upon us, please!

If I had to guess, I would bet that a source for ECM's has been located and now you don't have to send them across the pond and back... they will now make a one way trip. Of course this is just a guess and I could be wrong.

Okay so I understand that the Catcher is a stock ECM unit that is reprogrammed. If this is so popular why is it that only Marco does this and why does it have to be done in Italy? There seems to be quite a following for this product and I was just wondering why it isn't something more companies do, like Edge or Bully or the many others out there. Is there some sort of legal issue in reprogramming the ECM. Just wondering, after all, it is still all new to me.

You hit the nail on the head. Dalmier Chrysler does not like the commom man messing with its ECM's. Back when the 24V first came out TST was reprograming the ECM's and doing well with that upgrade. They got told to stop or get sued. Since Marco is in Italy it is hard for DC to reach over there and tell him to stop. Besides, Marco is not using DC software to rewrite the ECM like TST was. So in theory he is safe.

Thanks for the info John. So what happens if you have a Catcher and you have to take your truck into the dealer for service? Is the reprogramming seen by their scanner, or can it be reprogrammed back to stock? Would you lose all the performance you paid for?

On the same subject, when they do reflash, do they use the OBDII connector to do that?

The Catcher CANNOT be reflashed to any program by anybody other than Marco. You can take your truck to the dealer and not worry, they won't be able to reflash it.

I just got back my reflashed Catcher today and I love it. Previously it was too aggressive... the throttle is more linear now. The Catcher with the TST PM3 box rocks.
