Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) CB and edge comp in dash pictures

Here is another option for mounting the comp with a CB. I think ive seen it done like this before but i figured you guys would like it. Much easier to tune comp and CB right off the end of the shifter.

The cd player is attached to the dash with some small brackets. The CB and the Comp fit perfectly below it with a little spacing from double sided tape. The dash cover was modified with some plastic scraps and high strength glue (and alot of time with a die grinder). Some texture paint to match the factory and it was done. It looks flimsey but the pieces that were modified are suprisingly strong, they hold up the the usual abuse of ripping that dash cover off. If i had to do it again i would put my brake controler above the comp! Im still letting it cure completley but i will try to get some more pictures of behind the dash.
