What I did was get a piece of 1" wide galv metal strap and made a 90 bend in it. I've got a 1/2 hole drilled in the down leg and ran a 1/2 ss bolt
w/ a ss lock nut into the stake pocket using ss washers to take up the difference between the inside of the bed and the hole where the stake pocket is. Then the ant is mounted to the other bend so that it sits inside the bed rather than on the rail. I hope this makes sense to you, if not I can attach a pic when I get home later this week. 18' of cable works out just right cause I used a direct tv mount leg to hold the radio and have it set so it's angled at me. It intrudes a tiny bit on the passenger but glove box and both the upper and lower consoles and cup holders open with no interference. I didn't drill thru the floor but bent up some 2 metal straps to attach to the center console seat bolts with a 1/4" alum plate bolted to those then the DTV mount attached to that. A 2wd doesn't have any interfernce down there. Hope this helps but a pic is worth 1000 words they say.
