Ive come up with a simple one piece bracket for mounting the CB. It bolts to the center seat using the OEM bolts. It will hold a large CB. I have the RadioShack CB and it holds it just fine. This still allows the use of that important option, the large cupholder. I can make more if anyone needs one email or post if you want one.

Ive been getting some email on this bracket. I have a different bracket that will work on the 98-01 stick shift trucks as well. Its hard to describe the bracket in writing. Installs in about 5 mins and the only drilling is for the bracket which comes with the CB. Email me for price, etc

Where exactly does it mount? I'm currently wondering where I'm going to put a radio. I have a 4x4 and don't want any clearance problems. Also my girlfriend sits in the middle sometimes and I don't want her to hit her knees/get tangled up in any wireing. Thanks for the info.

I would be interested also. I have been trying to come up with an idea myself but haven't had to much luck.

Mike... got mine today and it looks well engineered and well built. It should tuck neatly out of the way, save needed space and put the radio close at hand... the price was very fair. I will let you know how it installs over the holidays when I get the new radio.

I'm still happy with my MB (auto. ) CB mount! My CB looks awesome mounted that way... looks like a factory installation. #ad

I almost wish I had the auto so I could have more room on the floor for my radios and stuff. Does anyone make a kit to convert the NV4500HD floor shifter to a column shift? #ad

Has anyone got a picture of one of these? I would like to get one if it fits neatly between the seat and the 5sp/4x4 shifters
