Extension Speaker
Driver Extreme DRX-901
There’s no way to fully capture faint/weak signals via NRC without a quality speaker.
This location can be modified to fully underseat given clearance (a Kenwood shown).
Firing into the footwell is more than pleasant and avoids airbag type problems.

This level of audio fidelity in a mobile speaker hasn’t been matched.
Yes, it matters. Next to nothing changes the experience of CB as much as the right speaker. The one built-in tells you the radio is working
and that’s all it’s good for.
An integrated NRC radio plus higher fidelity mic & speaker is Year 2024. Wholly outclasses what was thought normal just two years ago . . .
as those are now made obsolete.
It’s that big a change.
“
I know what is Citizens Band!”
No, . . you don’t.
FWIW, my use is 300-days/year at 2,000-hours approx.
Use is central to my health & wealth. It goes on when I wake up and is running till I go to bed after another 5-600/mile day.
Capturing this quality for a video is difficult. But here’s a man in a hard-surface garage
and he could turn back RF Gain somewhat.
Your Cobra 29 won’t capture 2/3 of what he’s able to hear. You’ll think CB is “dead”.
An NRC radio + DRX-901 is state-of-the-art. You’ll hear every minor flaw in other radios. I help other men get dialed-in on a regular basis as it’s easy for me to tell what is “off”.
I have other drivers who may hear my rig at a truckstop walk over to ask about what they’re hearing. Most think I’m on VHF due to clarity.
