CB mounting area?

Just wondering where you guys might be mounting your CB radios in the new 3rd gen trucks. I have an auto so I am thinking about mounting it just in front of the middle seat (basiclly standing up, controls up) and then running the wire under the seats. Does anyone have pictures on how you have mounted your radios?

CB Mount

Get ahold of BIG BOB. He's got mounts that use the metal bar on the center consol to mount a "metal plate" of sorts to then mount the CB, Ham Radio, or both. I'm gettin' ready to get one myself.

I vote Big Bob bracket also if that is where you are thinking about mounting the CB.

I'll second that question! I've been watchin' for a while. Big Bob's is a nice rig, but it doesn't work well with a stick if you value your cupholders.



You might look around for a thread I saw a week or two back that had it mounted on the passenger side of the center console. I'd been thinking about mounting it on my side and leaning the set so that it tilted a little to the right. That'd work for the way I usually sit, but could pose problems for that rare occasion the seat had to be adjusted for somebody else. I'm gonna measure up and see how that might work.
