CB Radio Interference After Pusher Pump Install

I just finished installing a pusher pump located just in front of the fuel tank. It works good. Now when I turn the CB radio on it has a steady noise with good signal strength. If I shut the truck down the noise stops. I turned the ignition back on, and while the pumps were running, the noise was present; the noise stops with the pumps. So, I think the pusher is making radio noise. I checked the ground for the pump, seems good. Will a capacitor across the terminals of the pump resolve this? If so, what size? Any other suggestions?

You need a noise filter on the radio, or better yet, the pump.



Depending on how many amps the pump pulls, you may be able to install this one on the pump wiring, instead of the radio.
