CB radio

[24vcummins]

I guess you'd call it a remote mount CB. One that has the controls (volume, channel, squelch) on a handheld mic. Anyone know where to find such a thing?

Easy to find!



Check out the Cobra 75 WX ST. It's a good little radio and is very easy to mount, even in a 3rd gen. Had mine for nearly a year and am happy with it. It can't be turned up like a full size and seems to be a little pickier about antennaes, but a durn good trade-off for the size.

Yep...

... just installed the Cobra 75 in mine (with a stake hole mounted firestik 5ft antenna) and it works great. There are better radios out there, but for what I need it, it's a great performer.



Just got one for the wife's Subi as well - she doesn't want "prominent antennae", so I'll install an on-the-glass Radioshak antenna on hers; should be good enough for a decent morning chat on our way to work...
