Curious as to how many have had to change their ccv filter. My overhead says it needs servicing with 23300 miles on the truck. I called to get one, but none of the dealers within 100 miles stock it. I have it on order($14. 00). The owners manual is very vague on it and says to see the dealer, but it is very easy to change. I did not see any service interval in the owners manual. The dealer said service manual says every 24 months. My truck is 2 years old this week(ironic isn't it).

Ing On(Don't Start)

I beleive it should be covered under warranty under the emmisions warranty if it failed before the recommended service interval. Your dealer can run the part# with your vin to verify very quickly.

A couple of things to think about on the ccv filter, 1, if you don't change it when it needs to be changed you "could" suck oil, (oil mist) into your turbo and end up with it in your cooler and gum it up, 2, if you don't change your air filter when needed, the engine is going to suck air from somewhere, in this case your crankcase, again doing the same as above. The line from the ccv filter goes into the clean air line directly in front of your turbo. Again, something to think about.
