CD Changer quit

I have the in dash CD player. It is currently loaded with 6 discs. Trouble is the deck doesn't know it's a CD player anymore. When you select mode you only have the choice of AM or FM no CD. Pressing Eject/Load does nothing.



Any advice besides taking it back to the dealer??

Phoenix has more radio stations than any city in the world... ... . why do you need the CD???



Just a shot, Pull the power plug, then re-install.

I think that might have been what killed it... I disconnected the battery then no worky

But there is no anti-theft features

Mine has done the same thing. I was messing around installing gauges and blew fuse 18. Replaced it and everthing but the CD player is working fine. The AM and FM are there but the radio does not recognize or display the CD player. Is there a reset button or method on this? Thanks

same thing happened to my wife's truck. drove by dealer and they inspected it and ordered a new one under warranty. they leave the original in until the new unit comes in. she gets her's replaced this saturday.

Im at 52K miles so warranty is not an option. I may try to take it out and see if I can fix it or break it permanently. Anybody had one of these apart?
