Mine did the same thing. Replaced with an "on special" $110 Kenwood plus mounting kit. Bought another one for my old S15 GMC. if I had it to do over again, I probably would have bought one with more new features. Mark
I found that if you have the 6 Disc changer the changer mechanisms are available, flebay etc, to swap out. May require some soldering. The rubber belts can break or the gears crack and lockup in the CD player jamming them. It's not practical to replace the gears and re-time the thing. Shops sell rebuilt radios, some will rebuild yours. Example replacement radio
Depends on what bands were on those cd's. If it was Barry Manilow, that was your CD player doing you a favor................ (trying a little humor here)
